FAQ’s Q-Switched laser:

Q‑Switched Nd:YAG laser is a powerful, yet gentle way to target pigmentation, acne marks, pimples, and even tattoos. Utilizing precise 1064 nm wavelength energy, it breaks pigment into small particles that your body safely and naturally eliminates.

We customize power levels and frequency to your unique skin tone and concern, ensuring safe and effective results every time.

It treats freckles, age spots, melasma, birthmarks, acne marks, and tattoos while brightening skin, regulating oil, and preventing acne. Expect 70–90% pigmentation clearance.

Yes, it’s safe and non-ablative, stimulating collagen for firmer skin. Customized settings minimize risks like hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation, unlike generic treatments.

Most clients feel it is tolerable. Cooling or numbing options are available for added comfort.

Minimal—expect a faint pink flush for about 15 minutes. You can apply makeup and resume activities immediately.

Safe for pregnant individuals and those on Accutane, as it’s non-ablative and doesn’t affect skin thickness.

Before: Avoid tanning and sun exposure for 7 days; use sunscreen. After: Continue sunscreen for 7–10 days; maintain regular skincare.

Higher risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation exists. Combining with IPL or picosecond lasers and strict sun protection enhances outcomes.

Collagen stimulation refines texture, reduces pores, and promotes lasting skin clarity and health.

FAQ’s: Medical Grade Peels (VI Peel)

The VI Peel is a versatile medium-depth chemical peel that combines effective ingredients like TCA (trichloroacetic acid), salicylic acid, and retinoic acid to exfoliate the skin and encourage healthy cell turnover. It’s designed to improve skin tone, reduce signs of aging, and deliver a radiant, refreshed complexion with minimal downtime, making it ideal for busy schedules.

VI Peel benefits include improved skin texture, tone, and clarity. It can reduce age spots, fade acne scars, diminish hyperpigmentation, and boost collagen production for firmer, smoother skin. It’s particularly effective for rejuvenating the skin, reducing blemishes, and achieving a brighter, more even-toned complexion.

The VI Peel is suitable for those looking to address concerns like acne scars, age spots, hyperpigmentation, or reduced skin elasticity. During a consultation, skincare medical aestheticians will assess your skin, review your medical history, and discuss sensitivities to ensure it’s the right fit and customize it to your needs.

A week before your appointment, pause active ingredients like retinol, AHAs, and BHAs to avoid extra sensitivity. Keep your skin hydrated with a good moisturizer, limit sun exposure, and apply SPF 30+ daily. Communicate any recent skin treatments or conditions with your provider. Schedule your appointment at least two weeks before major events to allow time for peeling and recovery.

The treatment is quick and comfortable, lasting about 30 minutes. It begins with a thorough cleanse to remove makeup, oil, or debris. The peel solution is applied in layers, and you may feel mild tingling or warmth. After a brief drying period, you’ll leave with the solution on your skin and receive an aftercare kit with soothing products and instructions.

While you may feel a mild tingling sensation during application, the procedure is generally comfortable and well-tolerated, even for those with sensitive skin.

Post-treatment, your skin may feel tight or slightly red, like a mild sunburn. Peeling typically starts around day three near the mouth and chin, spreading gradually. It peaks around days five to seven with dryness and flakiness. Use the provided moisturizer to stay comfortable, and avoid picking at the skin. By day ten, peeling subsides, revealing brighter, smoother skin.

The peeling phase typically lasts 3-5 days, with most clients fully healed within 7-10 days.

It’s best to avoid makeup during the peeling phase to allow your skin to heal naturally. Once the peeling subsides, you can resume wearing makeup.

Many clients notice improvements in skin texture and tone within a week. Full results, including increased collagen production, become visible in 4-6 weeks.

You can expect softer skin texture with reduced rough patches, clearer skin from faded acne scars and marks, lightened hyperpigmentation and age spots for a more uniform complexion, and improved elasticity for firmer, more radiant skin.

Use SPF 30+ sunscreen daily to protect against UV damage, hydrate with a gentle moisturizer, and avoid exfoliating products for at least two weeks. Stay hydrated by drinking water and maintaining a balanced diet. Schedule follow-up treatments every 3-4 months for ongoing improvements and vibrant, youthful skin.

Day 1:

  • Immediately following the peel, skin may look light yellow, red, or tan. This is due to the Retinoic Acid included in the formulation. It is temporary until washed.
  • Please wash your skin after 4 hours (DO NOT USE HOT WATER). You may apply a thin layer or post peel protectant (moisturizer included) as needed. If post peel protectant burns you can substitute a thin layer of aquaphor. Apply the SPF if it is daylight.
  • One hour before bed, wash your face with a mild cleanser (DO NOT USE HOT WATER), dry well and apply one of the post peel towelettes to the peeled areas. If you experience extreme itchiness or irritation, wash with cool water.

Day 2:

  • Cleanse skin with a mild cleanser and gently pat dry (DO NOT USE HOT WATER).
  • Continue to apply a light layer of the post peel protectant 2-4 times per day as needed. Apply SPF after every application during daylight hours.

Day 3-5

  • You will start the peeling process by seeing a slight sloughing of the skin. Refrain from picking or pulling at the skin during this process.
  • Makeup may be applied day 5.

Day 6-10

  • Continue to treat the skin gently and do not scrub.
